Proud Anglicans have been in every Toronto Pride parade this century -- and we'll be in the 2026 parade, on Sunday 28 June.
There certainly were Proud Anglicans in the 2025 Toronto Pride Parade, on 25.06.29 -- 66 of us, from about 12 parishes. We had a blast, in the 90 minutes we were walking the parade route. Rather warm in the waiting area, but we made it just fine. And hudreds of contact cards were distributed to the crowds down Yonge Street.
Please plan to join us on the afternoon of Sunday 28 June. We'll be carrying Proud Anglicans banners (bring your parish banner too, if you wish), and we will have Proud Anglicans bibs to wear and placards to carry in the parade. We hope clergy will wear clerical shirts -- it really makes a difference in how we're perceived by the crowd.
